Complex Cervical Spine Surgery .

  • Mr.Rambabu 30 yrs old male who is on chemotherapy for T cell ALL (Acute Lymphoblastic Leukaemia) at American Oncology Basavatarakam Cancer Hospital and Research Institute. He consulted me with symptoms of acute axial neck pain and instability symptoms.His symptoms were rapidly progressive in the last 4 weeks .
  • His investigations showed metastatic bone destruction of 2 vertebra in his neck (C5 and C6). He underwent Complex Cervical Spine Surgery i.e C5 & C6 Corpectomy and C4- C7 Anterior Column Reconstruction & Fusion with Expandable Implant.
  • He was mobilised pain-free independently within 24 hrs post surgery.
